How can you be sure that the right material arrives at the right time on the production line? Procurement at the start and during the production process can be a source of delays or errors. The wrong material, a delay in communication, can slow down or stop production, creating huge losses and additional work.
With IMS MesEvo, communication between the lines and the warehouse becomes automatic. The call can be made directly from the production machinery or through the line operator.
The call will always refer to the materials of the product being produced. Communication between the line and the warehouse takes place via a simple but effective protocol:
the forklift operator takes charge of the requests for the lines and product types under his responsibility; the system sends feedback to the line, which learns that its order is being processed; the forklift operator transports the material to the line and, via a dedicated app, delivers the contents of the call to the line.
The use of a support system, in this particular aspect of production, makes it possible to increase efficiency, optimise warehouse resources and reduce risks due to the movement of the trucks themselves.
